Health & Nutrition
Nutrition is the process of consuming the proper amount of nourishment and energy. A good example of nutrition is the nutrients found in fruits and vegetables. nut, seeds, legumes and whole grain. It is eating a nutritious & healthy diet.
Indoor & Outdoor Exercise
Exercise is a regular physical activity to improve health and to condition every part of our body. It is also a way to stay fit and a means of physical rehabilitation.
Fresh Water
Drink and consume clean and safe water to keep our body in good health and to stay hydrated. The amount of drinking water required to maintain health varies, and depends on physical activity level, age, health-related issues, and environmental conditions, otherwise the daily recommended water in take should be up to 8 glasses a day.
Sunshine
When sunlight hits the skin it hits the body's production of vitamin D which called “the sunshine vitamin.” It is very important for our overall health; it protects against inflammation, lowers high blood pressure, helps to develop the muscles, improves our brain function and may even protect against other health problems.
Temperance / Self-Control
Temperance means restraint and moderation. Self control is a Biblical and stated about the Fruit of the Spirit in the book of Galatians. Through the Holy Spirit, we can overcome the bad habits we developed throughout our lives.
Fresh Air
Fresh air helps to digest the food more effectively, improve blood pressure and heart rate, and strengthens the immune system. A pathogen is link in a chain of infection, and the only way to stop it is to have a host of good bacteria to defend our body. Getting our daily dose of fresh air is enough to help our immune system and fight pathogens.
Rest & Sleep
It helps to reduce our stress. If our body doesn't get enough sleep, the stress hormone level will be elevated. Sleep also lower our blood pressure and makes our heart healthy, it improves our memory & we also tend to have a better mood.
Trust in God, Daily Devotional and Prayer
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Proverbs 3:5-6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Gratitude and Peace of Mind
These attitude helps our mental wellness and gives mental state of calmness, free from worry and anxiety. Spending time in nature is a great way to obtain it.
"Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
